Interesting moments selected from sourced older MMA footage, interviews, and broadcasts, then reformatted for short-form video with captions and visual adjustments.
Background
I am a longtime MMA fan sharing my own observations, research, and opinions. MMA Matlock is independently run and is not affiliated with the UFC or another fight promotion.
I previously worked as a camera operator for regional MMA events in the Upper Midwest, which gave me some behind-the-scenes experience around live fight production.
When a breakdown uses outside statistics, reporting, quotes, or other research, I link the source where practical. Predictions and interpretations are my own opinion, and articles may be updated when new information becomes available.
Editorial approach
The goal is not to pretend every prediction is certain. I try to separate what the footage and numbers show from what I am speculating about, then explain why I reached a particular pick.
